AHUZAT BARAK

Detailed design of internal road system, access roads and parking of the AHUZAT BARAK residential settlement
Services Provided:
  • Detailed site surveying.
  • Detailed design of earthworks prior to residential structures construction.
  • Detailed design of traffic and parking systems of the entire settlement and of its connection to adjacent national highway.
  • Detailed design of hydrology and hydraulics.
  • Detailed design of drainage schemes and coordination of various infrastructure systems (power, communications, street illumination, water supply, sewerage, etc.
  • Top oversight during construction.
AHUZAT BARAK is a community settlement located in the YIZRAEL Valley, (Lower Galilee Region), close to the Kibbutz of DOVRAT. Out of the planned capacity of 710 households, the town is already inhabited by about 320 families. All structures are one or two level single or duplex houses.

All communal services, such as education, health, etc., are provided by the JEZREEL Regional Council.

TEDEM has been chosen as the chief designer of the road and parking system of the entire settlement, starting from detailed design of the site road system and plots excavation works up to top oversight during construction.
The project was commissioned and financed by a private entrepreneur FRIEDMAN-HAKSHOURY Engineering and Construction Ltd.
